As a new teacher of English, I wonder what's the better way to deal with this situation:
A teacher writes a wrong word on the board. Is it better that:
1- He tells immediately his pupils that he had made a mistake.
2- He waits for the next session to correct it, pretends that he had made it on purpose, and add a point to the pupil able to correct this word.
