You might already use songs in class, and find that your students enjoy them. Songs provide examples of authentic, memorable and rhythmic language. They can be motivating for students who repeatedly listen to and imitate their musical heroes.English songs can be used for a wide variety of learning and teaching activities. They can start discussions on a topic or even become the centre of debate.Songs are also great for teaching listening.

Re: LEARN ENGLISH THROUGH SONGS
I prefer teaching through movies cause if we give the ability to our students to listen well and accurately ,they will be able to reproduce accurately. The films should have a link with what we teach in class .They should be short enough to avoid boredom .They should be well designed to achieve certain goals . When the teacher speaks , the students don't hear the language within its natural environment. But,Listening to a movie in a classroom makes the language we teach vivid
